Few chances to mak at kleast a 30 km task bur the pilots are anyway going to the take off.

The weather is significantly getting worse and the task director: Giorgio Corti, decides to cancel the task.

 

The air is quite calm and mostly of the pilot take this occasion to make some speed-glide ratio coparison test.

 

Looking at their flight from a side the general impression is that the performance differences among the gliders is quite minimal. A UP and a Omega proto are performing a stabilo to stabilo fligh and after almost two km of flight the altitude difference is only few meter (less than one wing height, and also the distance seems minimal.

 

The current storm front will leave on tonight; the forecast for tomorrow is for North/East wind than could jeopardize the task.

The weather will become nicer on thursday.
